Primary program areas include value-added bioproducts from forest biomass, packaging, and wood-based composites, and building materials. The individual will serve on graduate student committees, develop and participate in research proposals, be active in presentations and involved with conferences, partner organizations, and professional societies. Experience in life cycle analysis, industrial ecology, techno-economics, and supply chain analysis. Demonstrated excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills. Preferred: Knowledge in processing of bioproducts (wood composites, mass timber panels, nanocellulose, etc.) building construction and operation, biomass to energy conversion.
