Job Description:

Job Dimensions:

  • Services the modeling and analytic needs of teams in multiple locations.
  • Modeling, Harvest Scheduling, and Tactical Planning.
  • Liaises with Resource Planning team, Resource Support Team, Operations, and other members of the Analysis Team.

Specific Duties:

  • Provides direct support for tactical planning in collaboration with MIMTA Operations to ensure harvest scheduling, budgeting, and harvest plan execution decision support is timely and accurate.
  • Provide and maintain timely, accurate, value-added information in the realms of harvest scheduling, tactical and long term planning, and timber investment analysis for various MIMTA business sectors.
  • Establish and maintain long term plans for client properties.
  • Support the development of regional price curves and other inputs.
  • Provide discounted cash flow and other financial analysis to evaluate and support timber management decisions, value-added and environmental service projects (carbon, wind, conservation easement, water, wood supply agreements, etc.).
  • Support MIMTAs conformance with certification requirements and support management systems that enable the advancement of the forest stewardship commitment. 
  • Continuously improve business procedures and provide training and support to ensure the effective deployment and use of property data and business systems.
