The Revenue Supervisor plays a key role in facilitating the financial success of revenue operations. This position supervises a team of Revenue Specialists, providing both leadership and hands-on contributions to the daily processing of timber revenue and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Revenue Supervisor will also collaborate with other team members on key accounting functions. How will you contribute: Revenue Processing and Oversight: Supervise a team of revenue specialists to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all timber and non-timber revenue streams.Oversee and participate in daily operations, including data entry, reconciliation, cash application, and reporting, ensuring adherence to established procedures and internal controls.Monitor and analyze revenue trends, identify potential issues or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to optimize revenue processing efficiency. Team Leadership and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to revenue specialists, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.Offer accounting support and training to team members, ensuring their understanding of relevant accounting principles and procedures.Conduct performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and create development plans to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the revenue team. System Management: Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to ensure the integrity and optimal function of the revenue and non-timber income system, including implementing upgrades and resolving system issues. Communication and Analysis: Assist Director, Contract and Revenue Services in weekly logger payment and month-end closing processes.Coordinate the distribution of weekly/monthly accounts receivable aging reports.Serve as a subject matter expert on timber revenue, providing comprehensive information and ad hoc analysis to management, Resource Units, and audit staff upon request. Required QualificationsAssociates or Bachelors (preferred) degree in accounting. Experience may substitute for education.3+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting department or business office environment.2+ years of supervising employees preferred.Comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle.Ability to analyze and resolve accounting issues that may arise, such as those related to long-term timber sales contracts, revenue adjustments, or unusual sales transactions.Strong understanding of enterprise accounting systems (RSS, LIMS, Microsoft D365) and how they integrate with the overall financial system.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet creation, maintenance, and intermediate-level functions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders in both routine and complex situations.Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving.Ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships.
