Overview: Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Programs Support Specialist to join our National Seed Programs Team.  If you are passionate about conservation, enjoy supporting others through excellent service and organization, and thrive in a work-from-home environment, this is your opportunity to help deliver native habitat to projects across the country.

The Seed Programs Support Specialist is a key member of our 5-person Seed Team and will serve as the primary contact for customers, helping ensure smooth order processing, strong communication, and industry leading service.  This position is remote, full-time, and ideal for someone with excellent administrative skills and a passion for conservation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver an industry-leading experience to customers by fulfilling orders, promptly distributing requested invoices, PLS sheets and other requested information.
  • Place customer orders, provide invoices and statements, secure and apply payments, and provide financial summaries.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and contractors through a centralized email and phone service.
  • Direct technical questions (custom mixes, site preparation, seeding, etc.) to the appropriate conservation specialist.
  • Collaborate with our accounting team as needed to provide information on taxes, tax exempt documentation and customers.
  • Work closely with the seed team to schedule meetings, conferences, events, and related logistics.
  • Administer contractor information for projects including RFP proposals, bid summaries, payment information, and reporting.
  • Work with vendors to collect payment information and invoices to process payments including W9s and ACH forms.
  • Assist in the development of educational and promotional materials and support updates to social media and websites.
  • Limited travel will be required for meetings and training.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel); CRM experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage shared drives and databases.
  • Professional communication across email, phone, and text.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment from a home office.
  • Comfortable handling confidential financial information (credit card entries, W9s, ACH forms).
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.


Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Degree in business, accounting, or natural resources.
  • Experience with accounting tasks or systems.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Writing or marketing experience is a bonus.

Salary:
$40,000 to $50,000 (commensurate with experience) with annual performance-based raises, plus benefits
