Lone Rock Resources, a progressive, family-owned company with lands located across Southwestern Oregon, is seeking a highly motivated Silviculture Forester to be based out of our Roseburg or Myrtle Point office. This is a unique and exciting opportunity with exposure to a wide range of forest operations and room for growth. 

The position will be mostly field based and includes unit layout, contract administration (for a variety of activities including planting, spraying, thinning, and fertilization), young stand exams, herbicide application, slash burning, and other duties related to growing and harvesting trees. 

Applicants should have at least a 2-year degree in Forestry or Natural Resources or 2-years of experience in forestry. A Bachelor’s degree in forestry is preferred but not required
