Job Description:

State Service Foresters assist private landowners with forest management planning and practice implementation. The forester will have multiple counties assigned as the primary service forester, where they provide forestry assistance to landowners on all cooperative forestry programming (Call Before You Cut/timber marketing, forestland property tax reduction programs, information and education activities, USDA Farm Bill programs).

Qualifications:

Core coursework leading to a bachelor’s degree in Forestry, 12 months training or experience in computer software, 12 months experience in public relations (coursework can substitute)

Salary:
Starting at $22.81/hour with step increases up to $29.66/hour
