The forester will have multiple counties assigned as the primary service forester, where they provide forestry assistance to landowners on all cooperative forestry programming (Call Before You Cut/timber marketing, forestland property tax reduction programs, information and education activities, USDA Farm Bill programs). Qualifications: Core coursework leading to a bachelor’s degree in Forestry, 12 months training or experience in computer software, 12 months experience in public relations (coursework can substitute) Salary: Starting at $22.81/hour with step increases up to $29.66/hour Benefits: Full Benefits, including: State Retirement System, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance.
