Whitehall Research Greenhouse at Whitehall Forest

Job Summary:
The greenhouse assistants help keep the greenhouse running smoothly by watering plants, general greenhouse upkeep and cleaning, basic facility monitoring, and some general plant care such as fertilizing and pruning.

Schedule: 
10 hours a week, flexible in terms of days of the week, but need weekday morning availability. Must have weekend morning availability twice a month for approximately 2 hours (8:00AM to 10:00AM) both Saturdays and Sundays

Required Qualifications:
· Preferred applicants are reliable, responsible, flexible, and communicative
· Comfortable working in hot and bright environments, standing and walking on cement floors throughout your shift, and can lift about 25 pounds
· Georgia driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Applicants do not necessarily need to have any prior greenhouse experience.
