Job Description:

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division, Fisheries Management Section, is looking to hire 2 summer interns to assist in removing non-native catfish (flathead and blue catfish) from the Satilla River. The positions will begin early/mid-May and interns may work up to 40 hours/week. Candidates will be working on boats outside under adverse conditions (extreme heat; carrying heavy objects >50lbs; etc.). The positions will be located in Waycross, and housing may be available.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18 years old, and be authorized to work in the USA.

Salary:
$14/hr
