Employer GA DNR, Fisheries, Waycross Job Description, Responsibilities and Required Qualifications or Skills The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division, Fisheries Management Section, is looking to hire up to 2 summer interns to assist in removing non-native catfish (flathead and blue catfish) from the Satilla River. The positions will begin early/mid-May and interns may work up to 40 hours/week. These positions are HEAVILY FIELD-ORIENTED, and thus candidates will need to be able to work under adverse conditions (extreme heat; low water levels; carrying heavy objects >50lbs; etc.) during extended hours. The positions will be located in Waycross, and housing may be available. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be able to work outside in the heat and lift heavy objects; have a valid driver’s license; be at least 18 years old; and be authorized to work in the USA.
