Work with internal and external resources to achieve production and research objectives in a safe, efficient manner. Ability to operate tractors, forklift, aerial boom lift, UTVs, chainsaws, and power tools. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate tactfully, efficiently and effectively with all levels of staff and external parties, both written and verbal. Miscellaneous: PRT/IFCO Seedlings operates a diverse network of nurseries in Canada and the United States enabling us to grow a wide variety of high-quality container forest seedlings for all climatic and site conditions. Annual production of 630 million seedlings makes PRT/IFCO the largest producer of forest seedlings in North America. We operate 5 bareroot nurseries across the South and 23 containerized operations. We are currently recruiting for a Full-time Summer Internship to supports the day-to-day operations of the Genetic Services department including pine seed orchard management & seed operations, tree improvement, R&D, safety, and southern pine seedling nurseries.
