Job Description:

Hartwell Lake is a Federal multi-purpose reservoir operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers located in Hart, Franklin, and Stephens Counties in Georgia and in Anderson, Pickens, and Oconee Counties in South Carolina. The lake is approximately 56,000 acres in size and is surrounded by over 23,000 acres of Federal land with over 40 Corps managed recreation and access areas. The duty location (where you report for work) is located in Hart County, Georgia, one mile from the SC/GA border on US Hwy 29.

Qualifications:

College student or recent graduate studying parks, recreation, or natural resource related fields however other majors will be considered. Weekends, holidays, and day and evening shifts are required. Candidates for consideration should be available to start work in early May. The ideal candidate should be able to work full-time from start date until classes begin in August and then part-time (weekends) through approximately September 10.

The duty location (where you report for work) is located in Hart County, Georgia, one mile from the SC/GA border on US Hwy 29. The address is 5625 Anderson Hwy (Hwy. 29), Hartwell, Ga 30643.

Salary:
$15.47/hr - Pay is based on the GS-04 Federal pay scale with additional pay for working specified Federal Holidays, Sundays, and nights as set by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
