The lake is approximately 56,000 acres in size and is surrounded by over 23,000 acres of Federal land with over 40 Corps managed recreation and access areas. The duty location (where you report for work) is located in Hart County, Georgia, one mile from the SC/GA border on US Hwy 29. The ideal candidate should be able to work full-time from start date until classes begin in August and then part-time (weekends) through approximately September 10.
