Deadline: Sun, 09/24/2023 - 12:00pm Employer: Drax Job Field: Forestry Job Type: Full Time Location: Regional/Multiple Location Detail: flexible - hybrid Job Description: About the role As a Sustainability Analyst you’ll play a key role in supporting the Sustainability Team in strategic decision making with data collection and analysis. You’ll support certification related analytics and reporting, manage Arc GIS and forestry inventory systems, and help manage information on sensitive species and high conservation areas. You’ll work closely with the operations teams and carbon specialists to drive the Carbon Footprint Reduction initiative forward and maintain the ESG site-level sustainability dashboard for US operations. You will collaborate with colleagues throughout the different business units to ensure proactive communication, data collation, analysis, and reporting. You’ll play a key role in Drax sustainability initiatives, including Nature Positive, People Positive and Climate Positive. Qualifications: About You A Degree in forestry, natural resources or a related field with proven analytics experience in forestry and inventory systems like Arc GIS, and LIMS is preferred, as well as familiarity with data analysis software (i.e., R Analytics). Advanced Excel skills, good data management skills, and high attention to detail is required, as this role will entail handling large amounts of data.
